You can’t say you’ve experienced Turin until you’ve had a Merenda Sinoira. 🍷

This week, I had the pleasure of guiding a wonderful group from Switzerland on a delicious journey through Turin. 🇨🇭

We wandered through elegant historic cafés, a tiny chocolate workshop, and a Vermouth bar by the river,
discovering the city one bite at a time.

To end the day, the highlight:
a true Merenda Sinoira, a table filled with small traditional Piedmontese dishes and a good glass of wine.

It’s not just an aperitivo.
it’s a ritual, a taste of Turin’s way of life. ❤️

This week, I had the pleasure of guiding a wonderful group from Switzerland on a delicious journey through Turin. 🇨🇭

We wandered through elegant historic cafés, a tiny chocolate workshop, and a Vermouth bar by the river,
discovering the city one bite at a time.

To end the day, the highlight:
a true Merenda Sinoira, a table filled with small traditional Piedmontese dishes and a good glass of wine.

It’s not just an aperitivo.
it’s a ritual, a taste of Turin’s way of life. ❤️

A few days ago I met Genevieve and Chris from Pennsylvania.
They booked my wine tour to celebrate their 20th wedding anniversary,
and I thought, this deserves something special!

So I prepared a little surprise:
a homemade cake to celebrate together. 🎂🍷
Their smiles said it all.

It was such a beautiful day,
one of those moments I know we’ll all remember for a long time.
And honestly, it’s exactly this kind of moment that makes my job truly priceless. ❤️

A few days ago I met Genevieve and Chris from Pennsylvania.
They booked my wine tour to celebrate their 20th wedding anniversary,
and I thought, this deserves something special!

I'm grateful for such wholesome people on my tours.

This time I spent the day with two amazing guests from Virginia,
Kathryn and Justin (or Goustino? Still don't know 😂).
We had a wonderful time wandering through lesser-known wine areas of Piedmont, laughing and sharing stories.

The best part?
We ended up at my parents’ place, where we cooked dinner together like old friends.
Pizza, meatballs, good wine, and so much laughter,
a real Italian evening to remember.

Still feeling grateful for this day and for these two bright, funny, and genuinely kind people.

Yep, I lost 14–5 at Scopa against an American 😅

During our food tour around Turin, we went from historic pastry shops to artisan chocolate makers, tasted vermouth, and ended the day with Piedmontese tapas and wine.

But the best part?
Somewhere in the middle of the vermouth tasting, we pulled out a deck of cards and started playing Scopa.

She won. Big time.

And that’s exactly what I love most about these days,
when a simple food tour turns into a day shared between stories, laughter, and a little friendly competition.

@jess_reims I’m already looking forward to the rematch,
this time, I’m coming for the win. 😉

Between tastings and panoramic views, our conversations flowed,
from vineyards to Italian legends… and somehow we ended up talking about the story of Lamborghini.

And then magic happened: right in the middle of the countryside, we came across a Lamborghini tractor. 🚜

Of course, we had to stop for photos,
A perfect mix of wine, history, and a little serendipity.

It’s moments like these that remind me why I love what I do.
